The New Monument Mountain High School Is Approved!

Following the November 4 District vote, the new Monument Mountain Regional High School has been officially approved.

Next Steps

With voter approval secured, the District is moving forward with the next phase of the Monument Mountain Regional High School project.
November 24, 2025: The School Building Committee will meet to begin the Design Development phase.
November 2025 – Spring 2027: The detailed design will be refined, materials and systems selected, and final construction documents completed in preparation for competitive bidding.
Spring 2027: Construction begins, with the new high school scheduled to open for the 2029–2030 school year. The existing high school will remain fully operational throughout construction. Every student currently attending Muddy Brook Elementary School will have the opportunity to attend the new Monument Mountain for high school.
