Next Steps

With voter approval secured, the District is moving forward with the next phase of the Monument Mountain Regional High School project.
November 2025 – May 2026
The project is currently in the Detailed Design phase, with final design documents scheduled for submission to the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) in early May 2026.
May 2026 – Spring 2027
The team will advance into the Construction Documents phase, preparing construction drawings and specifications for bidding. The project will be publicly bid in accordance with Massachusetts law (Chapter 149) in Spring of 2027.
Spring/Summer 2027 – Fall 2030
Construction is anticipated to begin in Spring/Summer 2027. The existing high school will remain fully operational throughout construction. The new school is scheduled to open for the 2029–2030 school year.
Fall 2030 – Fall 2031
Following occupancy of the new school, the existing building will be demolished and final site work completed, resulting in the full build-out of the new campus.
